Capturing the Magic of PANDA Fundraiser as an Event Photographer
Last weekend, I had the honor of photographing one of the most heartfelt and high-energy events I’ve covered this year. Children Helping Children PANDA annual fundraiser. Held in a stunning event space that perfectly matched the spirit of the evening. This night was all about community, courage, and raising vital funds for medical research. And let me tell you—it delivered on every front. Being an event photographer for an event like this is pure joy.

From the moment guests arrived, there was a buzz of excitement in the air. The space was beautifully styled, with soft uplighting and thoughtful details that made it feel both welcoming and celebratory. Families, advocates, and supporters filled the room, united by a shared mission: to support children affected by illness and fuel research that brings hope.

Kid’s Fashion Show
One of the standout moments of the evening was the kids fashion show—an adorable and powerful highlight that brought the house down. These young stars walked the runway with confidence and personality, and it was impossible not to feel moved watching them shine under the lights. It was more than just a show—it was a celebration of strength, individuality, and joy.
Live Auction
The live auction brought the energy up even further, with generous bidding and big cheers as attendees rallied to raise funds. I always love capturing these moments. Hands in the air, spontaneous laughter, shared glances of excitement.
You can feel the community come alive and all support what PANDA is doing.
Scottsdale Airport Afterparty
As the evening transitioned into the after party, the dance floor lit up and everyone let loose in the best way. It’s moments like these—smiles caught mid-laugh, a swirl of motion and music—that I live for as a photographer. It was the perfect way to close out an evening filled with purpose, generosity, and connection.
